Field Trip: Kerala arts and Crafts Village, Vellar
Field Trip is an off-campus group learning activity led by a faculty or staffs who travels with the group. These trips give ample opportunities to students to get a deeper understanding about the society and first hand knowledge about the social setting.
As part of B.Ed. curriculum, we the first year students of BNVCTE visited Kerala Arts and Craft Village, Vellar Thiruvananthapuram on 17-06-2024. This visit helped us to get a deeper understanding of kerala's heritage, art and craft traditions. We got a chance to get acquainted with artisans and the process and hard work behind each art and crafts.
